PENN Ocean Assassin Game rods are engineered with advanced SLS3 blank construction. This innovative design incorporates inner and outer spiral wrap layers of carbon fiber, sandwiching alternating layers of longitudinal carbon and glass. This structure ensures a round cross-section under load, enabling the rod to withstand higher weights while maintaining a lightweight profile. The combination of these materials creates a strong, balanced, and slender rod blank, ideal for offshore trolling and perfectly compatible with Penn International reels. Each rod is equipped with premium components, including Pac Bay® Roller Guides, Fuji ring guides, and ergonomic EVA foregrips for enhanced comfort during extended battles with powerful fish.
