Abu Garcia Salty Stage rods are designed in Japan for the ultimate in micro and light jigging performance. Featuring the latest in Japanese jig rod design, quality components and striking cosmetics.

Powerful composite blanks incorporate carbon and glass with carbon x wrap to reduce rod twist and increase power. The lightweight properties of the Fuji KR concept guide system improves the blank action while tight line control achieved with reduced diameter KR ring sizes improves sensitivity, particularly on the drop when jigging. Salty Stage rods feature a sophisticated grip design that delivers a lightweight and ergonomic grip system developed for unparalleled comfort and control.

The six model line up includes three spin and three overhead models. All models are 6’3’’ 2 piece with a max PE rating of 1.5. Max Jig weight is what differentiates each model with 80, 120 and 150 gram models available in both spin and overhead configurations.

Use with Cultiva Gekito jigs. Perfectly matched to Penn Conflict, Abu Garcia Revo SX and Revo Toro NaCL.

Fuji KR Guide Concept
Light weight Fuji KR guide concept increases graphite performance.
Tight line control reduces loose loops and increases sensitivity providing more direct contact with jigs on the drop. All guides are double wrapped for strength.

Composite blank
A powerful composite blank 98% Carbon 2% glass gives the optimum combination of tip action and backbone needed for working jigs and solid hook sets plus lifting power to move and control strong fish.

X wrap
Further increase in blank performance is achieved with a carbon X wrap. The cross wrapped carbon reduces twist in the rod increasing torque and power while also increasing compression strength.

Grip Design
Comfortable ergonomic grip design incorporating custom carbon wrap Fuji winch. Hybrid grip system for the best in comfort, grip and sensitivity. Beautifully finished grip configuration including engraved Abu Garcia logo and crest.
